Demineralization Water Treatment Plants
We set up and maintain Demineralization Water Treatment Plants
Demineralization Water Treatment Plants
There are so many different types of pure water these days that it often causes confusion trying to analyze the difference between them.
Demineralized Water is the water of extremely high quality. It is produced by a physical process using specialty equipment called a demineralization plant or a deionization plant.
The incoming water passes over a series of resin beds which remove mineral ions and other impurities from the water. Hence, Demineralised Water is also known as Deionised Water. Demineralized Water is also known as Demin Water, DI Water, and DIW.
Its common uses:-
- Laboratory applications such as autoclaves and laboratory testing
- Automotive cooling systems
- Lead-acid type vehicle batteries
- Laser cutting
- Steam irons
- Aquariums
- Humidifiers
- Cosmetics ( in the ingredients if ‘aqua’ is present it often refers to Demineralised Water)
- Fine mist firefighting equipment
- Aircraft engine cooling systems
- The final rinse of car and window washing systems as it makes it spotless
Types of Pure water
- Reverse Osmosis (Commonly called RO Water)
- Distilled Water (Produced by the distillation process)
- Double Deionised Water (The process of deionization takes place twice)
- Carbon Filtration
- Ultraviolet Oxidation
